George

George J. Pinel, CPA President/CEO

George has over 30 years of home health and hospice leadership experience. Under George’s leadership, Southeastern Health Care at Home (SE) has grown from a small, one-location provider to one of the largest privately-owned home care agencies in the region with 13 offices in Pennsylvania & Virginia. As CEO, George has guided the company’s expansion to one offering the largest number of specialty care programs, and most recently, the opening of our new Hospice agency.

Prior to acquiring SE in 1994, George was a founding partner of a healthcare consulting firm that provided a wide array of services to the hospice and home care industry, including operational analysis, billing and collections services, cost reporting and reimbursement activities, medical review services, and financial and tax accounting.

George was also the former Director of the HHA and Hospice Provider Payment Department at a Regional Home Health Care Medicare Intermediary.

George has been an active member of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) for over 25 years and has been awarded the Follmer Bronze Merit Award. He serves on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairperson and the Audit Committee of Wesley Enhanced Living, a not for profit corporation, consisting of five Continuing Care Retirement Communities, and has been a speaker at numerous seminars.

George has a BS in Accounting from LaSalle University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Bill G

William M. Giammaruti Vice President/COO

Bill has over 25 years of experience exclusively in the healthcare industry.

Since 2004, Bill has been a part owner of SE. Over the years, Bill has played an integral part in the company’s growth from a small agency to a top regional provider offering unmatched care, clinical programs, and most recently, the addition of Hospice services.

Prior to SE, Bill was a managing partner in a consulting firm servicing the home care and hospice industry. In addition to consulting on a variety of agency financial matters, Bill directed successful billing, collection, and clinical chart review engagements for the firm.

Bill’s experience in healthcare began with his position as an accountant in the hospice and home health agency provider payment department at a regional Medicare intermediary.

Over the years, Bill has consulted with home health providers across the entire business process lifecycle, including startups, strategic planning, and process improvement, as well as M&A.

Mary Anne Daley, MSN, RN CCO of Home Health & Hospice

Mary Anne has over 30 years of experience in home healthcare, serving in many different roles.

Since joining SE, Mary Anne has used her extensive experience to ensure the implementation of clinical best practices as well as full industry compliance in all aspects of the company’s operations. Mary Anne’s clinical focus is always patient-centered.

Prior to joining SE in 2019, Mary Anne spent 5 years as Director of Consulting Services for Corridor Group, a national home health and hospice consulting firm.

Mary Anne is an expert in leading change and producing solid outcomes and financial results. She has implemented and managed new delivery care models, such as Telehealth with Visique ICU centralization, Transitions in Care, Hospital at Home with Philadelphia VA, point of care documentation, and an aggressive 30-day Readmission Reduction program.

Mary Anne started her career in a proprietary agency prior to PPS reimbursement. In addition to her clinical experience in home health, Mary Anne worked at Magee Rehab for five years with a primary focus on spinal cord injury.

Mary Anne has a BS in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University and holds a Master’s of Health Care Administration and Leadership degree from The University of Pennsylvania.

Betsy

Betsy McLaughlin, CRNP CCO of New Directions Primary Care

Betsy McLaughlin has over 30 years of nursing experience in various healthcare settings.

Prior to Betsy’s current role, she served as Chief Nursing Officer for SE. Under her leadership, SE expanded into new areas, both in growth of the business and expansion of the company’s clinical specialty programs.

Betsy’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for home-based care was the impetus for New Directions Primary Care’s beginnings. Her patient care approach is “patient-centric.” She believes the best approach to wellness is to empower patients to be active participants in their healthcare.

Betsy is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Family University and her Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree from Gwynedd Mercy University in Adult and Gerontology Primary Care. She went on to receive her certificate in Advanced Practice Palliative Care from the California State University (CSU).

Roland Cleneay

Roland Cleneay CFO

Roland has more than 25 years of financial, operational and M&A experience in home healthcare.

Since joining SE in 2016, Roland has been instrumental in guiding the financial and revenue cycle operations to a level beyond all industry benchmarks. Prior to joining SE, Roland spent 9 years as Chief Financial Officer/VP of Operations for ACM Medical Transition Care, a home health and mobile physician practice company with 10 locations throughout Florida.

Before joining ACM, Roland was a partner with Wyatt Matas, a healthcare investment bank specializing in M&A and capital-raising initiatives for post-acute healthcare companies.

Roland began his career as an auditor with CMS regional intermediary Aetna
Over the course of his career, Roland has been involved with hundreds of complex transactions across the healthcare investment cycle, a speaker at many state and national healthcare conferences, and a member of HHFMA (Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers Association).

Roland has a BS in Accounting from Florida State University.

Matt

Matthew P. Landrigan VP of Business Development

Matt has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, over 10 of those being in healthcare, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the SE team.

Since joining SE as VP of Business Development, Matt’s strengths include new market strategic development and ACO hospital partnership-alignments. Matt’s focus is strategically hiring a dynamic, top-notch sales team to take SE to the next level. Doing this has allowed SE to widen their footprint and service area, as well as add and expand service lines and specialty programs.

Prior to joining SE in 2019, Matt was a Regional Director with Great Lakes Caring Home Health and Hospice, where he managed a budget of more than $40 million with a sales team of over 20 reps. Some of his previous employers include VNA, Amedisys, and Lincare. These organizations have given him the tools that allowed him to advance in his career, making him a great fit and addition to the Southeastern team.

Matt graduated with a BS from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.

Joanne Faith

Joann Maurio, MS, RN VP Operations, East Division

Joann has over 30 years in health care services and a wide range of experience.
Since joining the team, Joann has advanced from a Senior Nurse to her current position as VP of the company’s East operations. Joann’s devotion to SE’s patients and her clinical and operational staff have been key ingredients in the company’s success.

Prior to joining SE in 2014, Joann spent 14 years at Lower Bucks Hospital in their home health division.

Joann started her career with Delaware Valley Medical Center, specializing in the treatment of psychiatric and mental health disorders.

Joann has a BS in Nursing from Lasalle University and a Master’s in Psychology from California Coast University.

Werner has over 20 years of experience in health care management, including home health, outpatient/ambulatory, inpatient acute, sub-acute, and long-term care.

Werner’s first role at SE was VP of Rehab. In that position, he implemented the use of therapy best practices which have resulted in the company meeting and exceeding all industry benchmarks. Werner’s role has expanded at SE to include a position as the VP of Western Operations in addition to continuing to oversee Rehabilitation and Senior Living Strategy. In this new role, he is employing the same management techniques as before, yielding great success in his region.

Prior to Joining SE in 2018, Werner spent 4 years as a Regional Director for Five Star Senior Living in their Senior Living and Wellness division. He also held various leadership positions with Mercy Health System and Greater Hazleton Health Alliance, as well as several other healthcare service companies.

Werner has a BA in Biology and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. He also holds Six Sigma Belt Certification from Penn State.

Bill E

William V. Ennis HR DIRECTOR

Bill has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, spanning from operations to financial and human resource management.

Prior to his role at SE, Bill was a partner in a consulting firm which served the home care and hospice industry. He provided a variety of financial, employment, and Medicare reporting services to his clients. This experience has given him insight into the management of home care and hospice agencies.

Bill has been instrumental in directing successful, innovative recruitment of staff and the many employee-related benefits and recognition awards. Under Bill’s management, SE’s Human Resource department is dedicated to addressing all employee and employment issues.

Bill has a BS from Temple University.

Nina

Nina Morris, BSN, RN, MSHL, CHPN Director of Hospice

Nina brings over a decade of hospice and leadership experience, along with a diverse skill set across the continuum of care.

Nina was the driving force behind the opening of SE’s new Hospice company. Her caring and compassion towards SE’s patients was the driving motivation behind opening Hospice. Nina is focused on ensuring that those nearing end of life are provided with the care and love they need to stay comfortably at home.

Prior to joining SE in 2019, Nina was an Administrator for VITAS Healthcare, the largest hospice provider in the country. Her position was in one of their largest branches in the nation, where she directed the care of more than 500 patients, as well as the Education, Performance Improvement, Volunteer, and Bereavement departments.

Prior to VITAS, Nina worked in management positions with Trustbridge Health, Catholic Hospice and Hospicecare of Southeast Florida.

Nina has an MS in Health Law from Nova University, a BS in Nursing and BA in Psychology from University of Miami and is certified in hospice and palliative care by the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.
