SE Hospice Companionship Volunteers

Companionship Volunteers

Volunteers are working professionals, retirees, students, or even family members whose loved one received hospice services. Every Southeastern Health Care at Home (SE) Hospice Volunteer receives training on hospice philosophy and supporting the hospice patient and family. Volunteers can spend time with patients playing board games, reading, listening to music, providing companionship, or socializing with the patients to provide extra support in addition to hospice and family visits. Our volunteers often form special bonds with the patients. For more information on these programs or to inquire about how to become a hospice volunteer yourself, please call us at (267) 812-5126 or email us.
